Been a while....we've been enjoying the good weather!

Hard to believe this was our 3rd year of the Zig Zag Railway 'Thomas' big day out. this was the best one yet!

Circle

New to the children's play area is our Circle.

Due North is a heart shaped stump.

The children were very interested in the construction - Evie has already cottened on to the fact it is a clock, it represents the points of a compass and most importantly it is great fun to jump from one to the other!

As Evie said to me this morning, 'what a lucky day we had yesterday!" She was quite right. there are more photos to come - but this was the birthday cake moment!

(I think Tom realised he was meant to SHARE the pavlova....d'oh!)

Tom started preschool on Friday - this is him leaving the house complete with backpack, lunchbox and a HUGE grin. I think the term is bursting with excitement.

And here is the completed dining/lounge :) We are waiting, waiting, waiting for new blinds (not the best time of year to be blind-less!) and trying to find time to paint. We are beside ourselves
about how well it turned out and the lack of scratching and wheezing too!

Evie's first proper birthday party. Between the cakes, kids, candles, singing, I missed the kodak moment! Great fun though - Evie couldn't quite believe it when her classmates turned up to celebrate.
